The 10 Days of Connection exists to build bridges and weave diverse communities.

We invest in the transformative power of curated gatherings, large and small, to burst bubbles, foster trust, and dispel divisive beliefs that lead to conflict and other consequences. We call these Connection Experiences.

For 10 days each year (May 1 - May 10), we invite the entire community to work towards more:

Connected Communities

By encouraging all locals to learn about a topic that tend to divide us and engage in acts of connection, to build empathy, increase understanding, and refocus on our shared humanity.

United Communities

By fostering increased collaboration through cross-cultural, multi-generational, cross-sector, and geographical collaboration that champion exchange, and celebrating our cities’ rich diversity.

Active Communities

By promoting a more connected citizenry actively engaged in addressing community issues through volunteering, donating, and/or participating in public interest solutions.

Safer Communities

By feeling proud and powerful, celebrating that we all belong everywhere because of our unique differences.

Prosperous Communities

By cultivating power sharing experiences through skills development around diverse topics led by the experts (from local nonprofit organizations, to elected officials, academic leaders, entrepreneurs, and more!).

Through the years, we remain dedicated to investing in fostering connections, combating hate and discrimination, promoting community engagement, and celebrating our differences everywhere.
