Chicano Batman is an atypical alt-rock quartet, blending Brazilian Tropicalía with early ’70s psychedelic soul and the romantic pop of old school Latin bands. Come out and celebrate the vibrant cultures of South Florida through music, food, and culture.

South Florida Center for Percussive Arts is bringing together West Kendall locals for coffee and drumming to connect those that share a goal of bringing more arts events to our area’s public spaces. West Kendall's lack of programming forces its residents to engage with the arts far away from home, missing out on the community-building effects of cultural events. We will discuss past and current efforts, projects in the works, and ongoing opportunities for advocacy over coffee and drumming.
