Yom Ha'Shoah Community Event: Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony- Never Forget

Join us for a memorable and inspiring evening. Temple Sinai of Hollywood and Temple Solel of Hollywood is bringing together South Florida locals to view an award-winning film about the voyage of the SS St. Louis, whose 900+ passengers were tragically turned away from our shores. Meet a survivor from the St Louis and the film's writer/director/producer. After, enjoy a candle-lighting ceremony and performance by the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida. Additional parking can be found in the Sheridan Plaza.

A group of Broward leaders is bringing together South Florida locals to engage in a conversation around race and equity. This conversation will be an interactive workshop that will help us as a community to come together around a common issue.

HistoryMiami Museum is bringing the South Florida community together for a walking tour of Downtown Miami with Resident Historian, Dr. Paul George to learn the origin of this bustling part of our city. In this connection experience, you will have the opportunity to delve into the storied past of Downtown Miami as you walk along historic Flagler Street and learn the history of Miami’s founders – Julia Tuttle, Henry Flagler, and William and Mary Brickell. You will even have the opportunity to hear tales of the area’s earliest known inhabitants, the Tequesta, as you view the Miami River.
