The Miami-Dade County Commission for Women is bringing together Miami locals who care about women's rights for a roundtable discussion about the hot topics affecting women at the national, state, and local level. Women are a majority of the population in Miami-Dade County and the most recent 2019 Status of Women Report shows that women are lagging behind in some key economic indicators. Legislation is also being debated at all levels of government that affect the well-being of women. As a result the work of the Commission for Women advocates for women in the community and strives to improve their quality of life. Join us and help us discuss ways to build an equitable future.
