Maven Leadership Collective is bring folks together to discuss the good, the bad, and the patriarchy of the political arena, through the lens of gender, race, and film.

At a moment of historic volatility in American politics, join Maven Leadership Collective and O Cinema for a screening of the much-anticipated documentary, Knock Down the House. See four women build a movement of insurgent candidates challenging powerful incumbents in Congress without political experience or corporate money. Their efforts result in a legendary upset. Then we will engage in a spirited discussion with local female elected officials, organizers, strategists, and former candidates to better understand the headwinds women encounter when navigating the political landscape in South Florida.
