The Movement believes that the well-being and education of our children in Florida must be the highest priority of government, business, nonprofit institutions and families. The economic future of our state and the stability of the communities we live in depend on achieving this goal.

This is why The Children's Movement of Florida, in partnership with Miami Children's Initiative, invites all South Florida locals to connect on a deeper level and share the challenges Miamians face in giving children the best start possible. We will watch excerpts of the No Small Matter documentary and share our different experiences and perspectives on the importance of the first years of a human life. We need leaders and community members in every neighborhood talking about early childhood and this can be a place to start.
