Making Moves Universal, with the support of YWCA and MAIACA, is bringing together South Florida locals for an evening of movement-based healing to the sounds of international music. Dr. Mehta, as a professional choreographer and oncologist, designed this community program to emphasize how movement can enhance healing and empower diverse individuals dealing with any chronic illness or stressor. “We may not dance, but we all make moves.” Join us to connect with one another, celebrate our shared humanity and conquer pain. Musical sounds in Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi and English will be played so come ready to make moves!
No reservation or RSVP required, you can just show up and connect with us!
