Sea-level rise and other climate change impacts pose growing problems for South Florida communities. Engaged residents are starting to rise to these challenges, with mitigation and adaptation efforts in their neighborhoods and cities. UM researchers are learning more about what new challenges a changing climate may bring. Neighbors, come talk with UM researchers to learn more about their work and what it means for us. Scientists, come brainstorm questions that your community wants answered. Open to all South Floridians who want to be part of applying science toward solutions; no prior knowledge required.
