It is important to learn about our city's history. Knowing our past can provide us with a greater understanding of the present and future.

The Museum will be free and open to the public on May 1st for all community members to attend and learn about our city’s history. Tours of the permanent exhibition Tropical Dreams will be available at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Historic Downtown Walking Tour with Dr. Paul George

It is important to engage with and learn from the different communities that make Miami, Miami.

HistoryMiami Museum is bringing the South Florida community together for a walking tour of Downtown Miami with Resident Historian, Dr. Paul George to learn the origin of this bustling part of our city. In this connection experience, you will have the opportunity to delve into the storied past of Downtown Miami as you walk along historic Flagler Street and learn the history of Miami’s founders – Julia Tuttle, Henry Flagler, and William and Mary Brickell. You will even have the opportunity to hear tales of the area’s earliest known inhabitants, the Tequesta, as you view the Miami River.

We believe that it takes a village to raise a child. That's why P.S. 305 and PAMM are bringing the community together to celebrate and appreciate Miami's educators. Through our Teacher Appreciation Happy Hour, we are bringing together Miami-Dade County educators and community organizations for a Happy Hour at the PAMM with the goal of discussing ways to improve education in Miami, highlighting local programs that support teachers, and celebrating national teacher appreciation week.
